It's good season for enjoying onsen, isn't it?

This time we'll escape from the centre of Tokyo.
Chofu, it's also Tokyo, is only 14 mins from Shinjyuku by semi-rapid Keio line.
This area is as known as the residence area of one of the most famous Japanese comic author Shigeru Mizuki,most known for his Japanese horror manga GeGeGe no Kitaro.
It have been spread by this year's NHK TV drama "GeGeGe no nyoubou"(wife of GeGeGe).
So now, it's a kind of hot area... like spring!

Enjoy GeGeGe trail and hot spring!

Also I'll bring a bottle of special wine!

今回は都心から離れてゲゲゲの女房で脚光をあびた街、調布で走ります。
水木しげるさんゆかりの場所がいくつもあるみたいですよ。
妖怪もいるかも？

アツい街でアツい温泉にはいって楽しみましょう♪

There were only 2 people again!
Though it was not cold and good temperature for running.

It seems that SQH3 is not get along with Ginza area..

Just Hiroki (3rd time.maybe) and Second Hand Job have met up at Konparu-yu but this public bath

not allowed to leave our belonging while running.

We had to changed the plan.

At first, we changed clothes at Yamada denki. (I bought a bottle of sport drink to be a customer!)

And put all our belonging into a coin locker of Shimbashi station.

We did fun run, and took bath.
Year, it was okay. until then.


That public bath is structured as a building few stories high but interior is really typical old style.


There is a reason that I dare to write this report in English, not in Japanese.


An old woman, who is the mistress of that public bath told us "we'll be closed at 10 p.m".
I replied as "sure" because it was 9:10 p.m and I usually take bath by 40 mins.


Unbelievable happenings occurred while I was wearing clothes after taking bath.
First, half of the lights has been turned off by the mistress.
Next, a man who looks 50's has entered to ladies room to do cleaning though it was 9:40 p.m!
Whoa! 
Whoa!!
Whoa!!!
I decided that I won't come here again but another trouble which bring me here again has occurred.(describe later)


Anyhow, after taking bath we walked to an izakaya because I can use discount ticket, but it has already
closed ealier due to that day is Saturday.


I felt I'm so unlucky.. but Just Hiroki brought me to a nice French bar and we could enjoy beer and goodies!

They relieved me..


BTW, I found I'd left my nike+ sports band at the sento, on Monday.


I tried to call Komparu-yu, and the mistress of sento replied as
"A kind person find your belonging."
...what?
I think I might not lose it if you didn't turn off the light!!!


I visited there again.
The old lady said "Please write down you name, address and telephone number for just in the case."
....Whaaat?
I'm certainly the owner of this watch. Are there anything what someone need to contact me??


I surrendered to avoid trouble ANY MORE.

We started from Tsuru-no-yu, in Sendagaya.

Actually, we hadn't put our belongings into the inside of the building.

千駄ヶ谷の鶴の湯からスタートしました。

じつは荷物を銭湯に置かなかったんだけどね。

It's a quiet residential area only 5mins walk from station.

駅から5分ほどの閑静な住宅地です。

The trail was about 9Km, not so hilly but there are many attractive things.

Let me show you some of them.

トレイルはおよそ9Kmで坂はあまりなかったけれど、気になるモノがいくつもありました。

いくつかお見せしますね。

There was a publisher "Tokyo shin shi sha" which published the poem magagine produced by one of the most famous female Japanese poet in Meiji Period ,Akiko Yosano.

与謝野晶子が「明星」を刊行していた東京新詩社の跡地が銭湯の並びトレイル最初の角にありました。

Shirine, Hato-no-mori jinjya(shrine).

I found a restricted area so I made it as a murder point. LOL
立ち入り禁止エリアを見つけたので、殺人現場に仕立ててみました。(笑)

Usually such a statues in park are deformed but they are so real.
ちょっとした空間の公園にあるリアル動物たち。

外苑の団地にあるレトロなマーケット。

She's from Sapporo, Hokkaido as you can see on her hash name.

So I'll bring at least one bottle of wine from Hokkaido.

This original "the palace run" has no trail and down-down., hence square hash :)

We'll start from Ginza again.

Station and Exit : Takara cho (Toei Asakura line) A3
or
Ginza Icchome (Metro Yurakucho line) 10
or
Kyobashi (Metro Ginza line) 2
Public bath: Ginza-yu
Meet up at 19:30 in front of there.
Hash cash: 400 yen

Usually we run Uchibori dori street, but how about to run Hibiya dori street?
It's about less than 8Km if we take a long way. (Actually there are not so much difference.)

Anyhow, Run with your own pace, and you decide the distance.

Bring your bath gear, clothes for change. and also running gear!

We're planning to go Pront Higashi-Ginza branch after taking bath.

お風呂のあとはプロント東銀座店へ行く予定です。

In Japan, there are some "Oktoberfest" not in October!
This time, You can enjoy beer 2 times in a day.
First is on trail in Roppongi, and next is after taking bath in Ebisu.

First one is "Tokyo midtown German beer garden"
Next one is "Ebisu beer festival"
(both in Japanese)

Station：　Hiroo (Metro Hibiya line)
Exit： 2
Sento：Hiroo-yu

Hare: Second Hand Job (live hare)
Time: 15:00 *it's NOT the start time. MEET UP time.
Hash Cash: 400yen

I'll make a short trail to Roppongi midtown.
Hold some money on trail to get beer at beer garden.
I'm not sure we need deposit charge for a glass, but bring 1,000 yen for that.
(It'll be refund when you return a glass.)

Also,bring your bath gear and clothes for change.

今回は二度ビールを楽しめます。
最初はトレイル上の六本木、そして次はお風呂上りに恵比寿です。

[past] 4 Sep #30 Palace Run

皇居ランで他の銭湯に来るのは初めてでした。

ちょっと遅めの19:30集合。

今回は銀座湯です。

It is the first time to visit other sento as an palace run.

Later than usual meet up at 19:30

We went to Gina-yu.

宝町からも、京橋からも、銀座一丁目からも楽に来られる距離で、すぐとなりにはトイレのある公園とコンビニ。

これはF3H3にもいい立地だと思いました！

You can easy to get here from these stations-Takaracho, Kyobashi, Ginza Icchome.

And there is a park (with clean toilets) and a convenience store.

I suppose it is good for F3H3!

残念ながら写真は撮れなかったのですが、浴室壁面に綺麗なタイル画があり、男湯は銀座4丁目の風景、女湯は花火大会でした。

Unfortunately, we couldn't take picture of inside but there is a beautiful tiled picture on the wall of bath room. Male side is the view of Ginza yonchome, and Female side is Firework festival.

個人的な理由ですが北海道マラソンの疲労が残っていたためまだまだ走るには暑くてつらく感じました…。

It's personally reason but I felt it was really hard to run in such a heat because I had heavy fatigue by Hokkaido marathon.

今回はPull The Other Oneと二人で皇居をゆるりと走り、高田屋でつまんで帰りました。
We had only 2 people this time. Pull The Other One and me have run the palace moderately.
After taking bath, we had some beer at Takadaya.
